Eaton Fire Emergency Relief
Together, We Will Rebuild: The Eaton Fire has devastated our community, displacing individuals, families, and even our own team members. Union Station Homeless Services is dedicated to helping those affected—and we need your support to continue making a difference.
As of today, we have been able to help more than 2,000 individuals with the support needed to help the rebuilding process. Through monetary and in-kind donations, we are able to provide our community with the necessary resources to support everyday life. The help of community volunteers has been essential to support our efforts.
The work is not over, and we are in this for the long haul. As we continue to identify ways to support our community that fits its needs and is most effective, there are a few ways you can get involved:
Donate to our Relief Fund.
Your monetary donation has the greatest impact, allowing us to provide critical resources like emergency housing, food, and supplies for those displaced by the fires. Every dollar helps bring relief and hope to our community.
In-kind Donations.
We need essential items to support evacuees, outreach teams, and those affected.

Eaton Fire Collaborative.
In response to the recent devastation impacting Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre, the Eaton Fire Collaborative has come together to support the rebuilding and recovery of our community. This unified effort brings together community groups, local nonprofits, city, county, and state officials dedicated to helping those affected. This group has been meeting weekly since January 14th behind the scenes to create this unified group.
Our mission is to provide a coordinated response and clear communication to ensure that resources, assistance, and information reach the people and organizations that need them most.
Our Shared Goal:
IWe are committed to ensuring that those most impacted by the Eaton Fire are at the forefront of this conversation, leading our collaborative efforts to align our response with the community’s real needs.
We want to protect what makes Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre the vibrant and resilient places we know and love. In this critical moment, we aim to be a clear voice that cuts through the noise, an organizing force that combats misinformation, holds bad actors accountable, and preserves the integrity of our community. By working together, we can build back stronger—guided by the people who call this place home.

Several locations are offering free meals and discounts to first responders in the Los Ángeles area.
Union Station Homeless Services: We will be providing free hot meals-to-go from Monday - Friday, 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. Non-perishable foods and other relief essentials will also be available. The distribution center is USHS Adult Center located at 412 S. Raymond Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91105.
Infatuation LA: The popular foodie site has compiled a list of restaurants in the Los Angeles area that are offering shelter or free meals to first responders and evacuees.
Dog Haus: The restaurant will offer one free hot dog to those impacted by the fire at their Pasadena restaurant and free meals to firefighters at their Los Ángeles locations.

Crunch Gym: The gymnasium chain announced it will open 20 locations across Los Angeles for any evacuees or first responders that need to shower, recharge phones or rest.
Ecco Hair Studio: The hair salon in south Pasadena has announced it will offer free hair washes for people impacted by the wildfires.

Bath N’ Buns Mobile Pet Grooming: The locally-owned pet grooming service announced it will offer complimentary bath services for cats and dogs affected by the fires. Email bathnbuns@gmail.com for waitlist information.

California Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara will host a pair of insurance workshops in Santa Monica and Pasadena over the following weeks to aid people in Los Angeles County in the rebuilding process. Lara will be joined by other CDI personnel for one-on-one consultations. Homeowners in need are encouraged to call 800-927-4357 to reserve an appointment with a consultant.

FEMA: Homeowners affecting the ongoing Palisades, Eaton, Kenneth, or other SoCal wildfires are encouraged to apply for FEMA as soon as possible. Applications be submitted online, through the FEMA app, or by phone call at 800-621-362.
Small Business Admin: Low-interest federal disaster loans are available to SoCal businesses, homeowners, renters, and private non-profit organizations. Businesses can apply for loans of up to $2 million.
Homeowners can apply for up to $500,000 to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate.
Homeowners and renters also are eligible for up to $100,000 to repair or replace damaged or destroyed personal property, including personal vehicles.
